Implementation of all tasks and procedures relevant to Saudi Arabians in the University.

Third: Responsibilities

-Supervising the personnel of  the Department of Teaching Staff Members Affairs.

-Supervising works of records and documents in the Department.

-Signing requests of medical examination for the  new personnel.

-Supervising decrees of the new contracts and those related to renewing the contractees'.

-Approving urgent leaves.

-Follow-up  the Department's works relevant to other Departments in the university.

-Deputizing for his excellency General Manger of  Teaching Staff Members Department during his absence.

-Implementing  any tasks relevant to the area of specialization.

Faculty Members Unit ( Saudi Arabians and contractees)

Responsibilities

-Preparing demonstrators, lecturers and language instructors' appointment decrees.

-Preparing teaching staff members' appointment decrees( Assistant professor-associate professor –professor).

·         -Preparing vacations decrees of Saudi Arabians teaching staff members as follows:

·         Urgent leave

·         Sick leave

·         Exceptional leave

·         Maternity leave

·         Child care leave

·         Sabbatical leave

 -Each teaching staff member is promoted  from demonstrator to lecturer according to His excellency the University Rector's approval of the committee minute concerning demonstrators, lecturers and language instructors. Whereas, the University Council is in charge of promotion to assistant professor, associate professor , and professor rank. Promotion necessitates a vacant rank upon which an executive decree is issued.

- Conducting any tasks relevant to the area of specialization.

- Preparing  internal and external delegation decrees.

-  Preparing statements of  internal and external delegation decrees.

- Preparing statements of over time decrees.

-Preparing and approving decrees of additional teaching hours.

-Preparing decrees and approvals of exceptional increase.

- Preparing decrees and approvals of the committees reward.

- Preparing decrees of the council rewards.

- Preparing and approving decrees of work in summer vacation.

- Preparing and approving decrees of allowance disbursement( computer-academic education-

- Preparing and approving decrees of absence.

-Issuing flights instructions.

-Issuing two statements relevant to job description and salary items.

- Conducting any tasks relevant to the area of specialization.

Responsibilities

-Keeping each Saudi Arabian and contractee employees  a specific file involving  all decrees, letters and correspondences .

-Creating and distinguishing files for  Saudi Arabian and contractee employees.

-Arranging all files according to the traditional cataloguing .

-Sending the  files of the individuals who were transferred from the university.

   - Photocopying and preparing documents of appointment and contract to be sent to the Ministry of Civil Service.

-Inserting data the University employees in the program.

-Preparing work cards for the employees.

- Conducting any tasks relevant to the area of specialization.

Responsibilities

-Organizing processes of receiving and follow-up received mail and sent mail that has to be sent to the competent authorities,  organizing  archives to reuse and benefit from them easily and saving received and sent circulars.

-Welcoming faculty members, personnel, employees and auditors and providing them with the information relevant to their work  in accordance with the departments of the Department.

-Preparing periodic report, involving accurate statistics of  sent and received correspondences, performance rates  related to processing received correspondences and problems faced administrative communications and the officials,  on works of administrative communications.

-Creating and developing  a plan concerning organizing archives.

- Conducting any tasks relevant to the area of specialization.
